Hello!

I’m Alice, nice to meet you!

About me: I write and illustrate children’s books in my studio at the bottom of my garden in Leamington Spa, and I started my publishing career designing baby board books, pop up books, young fiction and picture books. I have had the good fortune to have worked with brilliant companies such as Andersen Press, Little Tiger Press, Nobrow and Wonderbly and I have worked at some of the top children’s illustration agencies too! I know, I’m pretty jammy.

In 2015, I quit designing books so I could chase my dreams of becoming an illustrator and I graduated from the Children’s Picture book Illustration MA at the Cambridge School of Arts in 2018. Since then I have been busily working away doing what I love most; Drawing dogs and getting paid for colouring in.

My first author-illustrated book Nine Lives Newton published with Simon & Schuster UK in 2020 and my second with them published in 2021 (The Dodos Did It!). Other clients include Hachette Children's Books, Hodder, Barrington Stoke, Affirm Press, Alison Green, The Art File and John Lewis.
